Is underfloor heating (UFH) more expensive than radiators?
Easi-fit undefloor heating has a similar cost to a radiator system for supply and fit (depending on house size) and the cost to run an underfloor system is less than heating other systems due to lower flow temperatures. It also adds comfort and value to your home so it is a worthwhile investment.
What happens if there is a leak?
Easi-fit pipe is manufactured to high quality standards and has TUV approval. It is tested on site to 6 bar pressure.
Is Easi-Fit piping difficult to install?
Easi-Fit undefloor heating is easy to install once you bend it to the required shape it stays in that shape, unless you want to change it. The only joints required are at the manifold which is all above floor level.
Do I need a special boiler?
Any systems that can heat water are suitable. Underfloor heating only requires low water temperatures it complements efficient boilers such as the condensing type or heat pumps.
Can a regular plumber fit Easi-Fit?

Do I need special floor coverings?
Almost any kind of floor covering can be used including tiles, carpet, timber, flagstone, ceramics, laminate. You should consider the thickness and the ability of the material to conduct heat e.g. carpet underlay should not be too thick, wood less than 22mm.
Is it suitable for older buildings or restorations?
Yes, Easi-Fit pipe can be retro-fitted if floor boards are accessible or if the floor can be raised easily.
