NuTech have recently launched their newly developed "Solar Discharge Vessel" (SDV) which can be used with any solar installation.

The "SDV" replaces the ubiquitous plastic drum with a fit for purpose engineered copper vessel. The plastic drum is the industry standard practice for collecting solar discharge (glycol) as it is not permitted by the local authorities to be discharged into the waterways.

 

 

The main advantages of the solar discharge vessel are;

• Collects the glycol discharge in a safe and tidy manner for reuse later.
• Robust and fixed in position.
• Cannot be inadvertently removed.
• Manufactured in copper for safety and strength.
• Compact in size and takes up less space in the hot press.
• SDV is also insulated to prevent scalding when in operation.
• The SDV is available in two sizes a 5L and 10L to be used in conjunction with solar installations up to a 30 tube and 60 tube array respectively.
• The SDV can be used with any solar system.
