Grant must be used to support the capital and installation costs of a heat pump system. As a general rule this includes only the equipment itself and related works specific to the functionality of that equipment.

All installations must be at a residential property located within Northern Ireland.

The funding support only applies to households in Northern Ireland.

The application form must be completed in full and signed by the applicant.

The applicant must complete the NIE application process for heat pumps – more information is available form the NIE website http://www.niegetconnected.co.uk/increasedsupply.php. NIE need to decide if, by installing a heat pump at your house, the electricity supply to your home (and others in your area) can cope with increased demand.
