Owner- Occupiers who bring their homes up to modern standards of insulation can apply for a one—off rebate
  Energy Efficiency Homes Scheme

 

 
  • £150 if you spend over £300 on either cavity wall or loft insulation
 
  • £75 if you spend £100- £299.99 on Loft Insulation
 
Certain exclusions and conditions apply

Low Carbon Homes Scheme
 
The first owner- occupier of a newly built zero or low carbon home (Completed after April 2010) may apply for 100% rate relief.
 
  • Full rate relief is available for up to five years for a zero carbon home
 
  • Full rate relief is available for up to two years for a low carbon home
